Curtis makes long journey worthwhile

This card, that stands astride the summer and winter jumps season, entices horses from far and wide and few came further than Rebecca Curtis, trainer of the Listed handicap chase winner, Vintage Vinnie.
It is a little more than 300 miles from Curtis' Pembrokeshire yard to Market Rasen, which perhaps explains why Vintage Vinnie was her first winner and just second runner at the track.
"We set off at 7 o'clock this morning, so this helps make it worth the trip," said Curtis. "We'll be coming back now!"
