There was drama and controversy in equal measure in the £27,000 fillies' handicap as first past the post, Daisy Bere, held onto the race despite causing significant interference.
The mount of Joey Haynes, who beat second-placed favourite Carolinae by three-quarters of a length, swerved badly right a furlong out and not only bumped the runner-up quite badly, but nearly knocked jockey Stevie Donohoe out of the saddle.
