Beverley comes under fire for 'unacceptable' stable staff accommodation

Beverley has been criticised by the trade union for racing staff after the "unacceptable" state of its accommodation was highlighted by trainer Charlie Fellowes.
Fellowes, who had a member of staff stay at Beverley in preparation for one runner at the course on Wednesday, posted images on Twitter of the accommodation provided, with the union condemning the facilities as being of an inadequate standard.
George McGrath, the national association of racing staff's chief executive, said: "In a nutshell the accommodation Beverley is offering doesn't meet with the standards our members should have to put up with. The accommodation should be of a hotel standard.
