New Vega could return to Doncaster for the Group 2 May Hill Stakes at the St Leger meeting after easily seeing off two rivals in the juvenile fillies' novice.

Danny Tudhope did not have to ask the 2-9 favourite any sort of serious question on their way to victory by four and a quarter lengths and joint-trainer Simon Crisford said: "We're very happy with the filly, it was very straightforward for her.

"She's come on a bit for her first run at Newmarket and now she's broken her maiden we'll look for something more ambitious for her. She'll go into deeper waters.

"I want to speak to her owners and work it all out. She'll have an entry in the May Hill Stakes and she'll probably run beforehand and then we'll take a view."

Tudhope had another comfortable ride in the nursery on 4-7 favourite Dublin Bay, a first course winner for the Pompey Ventures group whose Oliver Show was beaten just a nose in the Lincoln here in March.

The 4-7 shot won in similar company at Ffos Last on Tuesday and could bid to complete an eight-day hat-trick at Kempton next Wednesday.

Just Super

Billy Aprahamian struck with just his third runner on the Flat when Super Saiyan returned from a 606-day break to land the 6f novice under Sean Kirrane.

Kirrane was shaken up when Emily Post got upset in the stalls as the runners were loading in the following 7f handicap and Rock Diva suffered a fatal injury in the gate. The race was won by Stevie Donohoe on Wilde And Dandy
