Learn By Heart another for Queen's Memory bank
Memory won the Albany Stakes and Cherry Hinton seven years ago for Richard Hannon snr in the Highclere silks, but since then it is William Haggas and the Queen who have got the best from her.
Memory's first two foals Call To Mind and Recorder obtained black type and her third Learn By Heart got off the mark in ultimately ready fashion in the 7f novice stakes.
"The first two were lovely, big, athletic types with a quirk," said Haggas's wife and assistant Maureen, "but this one's just little. He's still got a lot of growing up to do mentally before we step him up in grade."
