'I think the world of her' - Burke beaming with Royal Ascot-bound Illustrating

Karl Burke described Illustrating as one of the fastest two-year-olds he has trained after she booked her ticket to Royal Ascot with an impressive debut success in the 5f novice contest.
The daughter of Showcasing is out of 2005 Coronation Stakes winner Maids Causeway and looked like a top-class performer when power clear of Instinction to win by a length under Danny Tudhope.
Burke landed the Albany Stakes at the royal meeting with Dandalla last year but Illustrating will be aimed at the Queen Mary Stakes. She was introduced by William Hill as a 16-1 shot for the Group 2.
"I think the world of her," said Burke. "She's talented and speedy. Her work has been good at home, so I'm delighted with the result.
"Catterick was not an obvious track for her but the Queen Mary is in our minds and we were running out of time, so we had to bite the bullet. She'll be up to Queen Mary class and will run well. She's as quick as any two-year-old I have trained at this stage of her career."
Tuer strikes again
Trainer Grant Tuer's flying form continued as he inched closer to equalling his career-best seasonal return with a quickfire double.
Mokaman and Out Of Breath won by a neck to move the trainer to 20 winners for the year, one less than he achieved in 2019.
