Sir Gino set for Game Spirit prep as Nicky Henderson opts to go down Altior route to Arkle

Sir Gino is in "excellent" shape as Nicky Henderson plots the same ambitious path towards the Arkle at the Cheltenham Festival he took with the great Altior eight years ago.
The Nicky Henderson-trained five-year-old is a 4-5 chance to triumph in seven weeks on March 11, and only his superstar stablemate Constitution Hill is shorter across the four-day meeting.
Last month's brilliant Wayward Lad winner was among 25 entries for the Arkle on Tuesday as entries across the five Grade 1 novice races and Triumph Hurdle were made on Tuesday. Triumph favourite Lulamba, who represents the same connections, was also entered for the Supreme and Henderson said the race was a "possibility" for the eye-catching weekend winner.
