Less choice has helped but multiple entries still leave plenty of unanswered Cheltenham questions for punters

The dropping of the Grade 1 Turners Novices’ Chase was supposed to help bolster the entries for the Arkle and the Brown Advisory and, while that hasn’t really happened, there can be little doubt that the removal of the other option should make life easier for ante-post punters.
Had the Turners still been on the menu we would probably be discussing the possibility of Majborough being sent there in order to avoid Sir Gino in the Arkle, and whether The Jukebox Man might have potential for going down in distance to swerve a Ballyburn clash.
It’s definitely a breath of fresh air that we are no longer in that situation, but it hasn’t totally solved the problem because Ballyburn and The Jukebox Man also have entries in the Arkle, alongside Impaire Et Passe and Ile Atlantique. So they are evidently thought to be versatile.
