Thatsy strikes for dominant team with all-the-way win

Jockey James Walsh and local trainer Donnchadh Doyle landed a double at this meeting, contributing to the latter’s incredible weekend tally of seven winners.
The double was initiated by the Monbeg Syndicate-owned Thatsy.
The Martaline newcomer led throughout and, although favourite The Captains Inn challenged approaching the straight, the winner could not be reeled in. He overcame a slight mistake at the last to win snugly by three lengths from The Captains Inn.
