Djelo looks an enticing each-way prospect for Ryanair glory after comfortable Denman victory

The William Hill Hurdle at Newbury on Saturday saw the winner Joyeuse record a Racing Post Rating of 138, improving her mark by 17lb.
She would be 8lb superior to current County Hurdle favourite McLaurey based on this effort, but remains a race short of Cheltenham Festival handicap entry requirements and sounds unlikely to head to the Prestbury Park extravaganza.
A genuine Ryanair Chase prospect was seen winning in comfortable fashion in the Denman Chase, however. Djelo beat fellow Ryanair contender Hitman by three and a half lengths to record an RPR of 170 and stake a more than modest claim for glory come March 13.
