It's a big day as I am teaming up with Blaklion in the Becher Handicap Chase (1.30) at Aintree.
My dad Nige has a truly unbelievable record in this race – he has won it six times – and sends out the first two in the market this year, Blaklion and Ballyoptic. Whatever he does with these staying chasers seems to work over the National fences.
Blaklion, who won the Becher off a 5lb lower mark last year, enjoyed no luck i the Grand National in April when brought down at the first.
