Vicente: drying ground will help his bid for third Scottish NationalCredit: John Grossick
It would be huge to win a third consecutive Coral Scottish Grand National (4.05) aboard Vicente at Ayr on Saturday.
He missed Aintree on account of the bad ground last weekend and should find the drying surface in Scotland ideal.
It’s going to be hard. After all, he is 4lb higher than when successful 12 months ago, but has been dropped 1lb since his run at Cheltenham last month on ground far too testing for him.
