Warrior's runaway win vindicates Collender's fearless faith

Two-horse owner-trainer James Collender sent out Kilbree Warrior to dismantle the opposition under Tom Feeney in the five-and-six-year-old mares’ maiden.
Kilbree Warrior, who led when falling two out on her previous start at Boulta in December, made all the running and was never in danger from three out as she stormed to a 12-length victory over Sheer Liss with the remainder of the ten runners either pulled up or strung out.
"She's a good, honest mare who Tom [Feeney] rides at home and we weren’t afraid of anything coming here today,” said Collender.
