Two-time Cheltenham winner Salsify still pointing the way at 15

The evergreen Salsify made his return to action at Naas on Sunday at the age of 15.
It is almost seven years since Salsify's second Cheltenham Festival victory, and although Rodger Sweeney’s charge trailed in last of nine finishers for his seasonal reappearance, he proved he was still capable of putting in a big run last year when third to Ucello Conti at Navan.
Salsify was in his prime at the same time that On The Fringe arrived on the scene and it is impressive feat of training that the pair, who have four Foxhunter victories between them, will feature this season. On The Fringe recently received a hunter certificate in preparation for his usual late spring campaign.
