Galway native Shauna Larkin stepped up her bid to claim a first ladies’ title by gaining her third victory of the season.

The Eoin Larkin-trained Saddlers’ Hall gelding Rosc Catha was always travelling well in the Ocean Feeds open lightweight but was helped when odds-on favourite and recent Glenbane victor Ourmanmassini crashed out the final fence.

The 11-year-old, who had been placed twice previously, went on to beat Wandering Aengus by nine lengths.
