Protektorat has big chance of Ryanair double in cracking contest - plus the pick of the eyecatchers for Cheltenham
The Cheltenham Festival is upon us following months of build-up and one of the highlights seems sure to be the Ryanair Chase on Thursday.
Fact To File is a short-priced favourite but nonetheless it looks a competitive contest, with the top six on Racing Post Ratings within 3lb of each other.
A winner at the festival last year, Fact To File started the season in impressive fashion by landing the John Durkan over a similar trip to the Ryanair and, having twice been beaten by Galopin Des Champs at three miles since, a drop in distance looks a sensible call.
