Power of Pause was marked down as a horse with a big future after an impressive victory on his debut.
Buyers on both sides of the Irish Sea will be on the alert when the son of Doyen is sent to the sales by trainer Patrick Turley, who bought the horse as a store last year for €28,000 at the Land Rover Sale.
Making his debut in a strong field for the Goffs four-year-old maiden under Mark O'Hare, he travelled well throughout before powering clear in the home straight to beat Imperial Flem by six lengths.
