The Colin Bowe-trained Papa Tango Charly impressed everyone by posting a scintillating debut in front of the Nationwide camera crew fronted by presenter Mary Kennedy.

Victory came in the Goffs UK Aintree Sale four-year-old maiden under runaway jockeys' table leader Barry O'Neill.

Always well positioned against nine rivals, he moved through to dispute briefly with long-time leader Fort Summer on the incline from four-out.
