Minella Melody (85++) jumped smartly from the front on her debut and everything about her performance was professional as she brushed aside her opponents. It will be a surprise if she does not turn out to be a black-type mare.

Dream On John (91+) raced keenly and could have been forgiven if weakening in testing conditions. To his credit, he had plenty left in the tank to win comfortably, clocking a good time. Two winners have already emerged from this race and he is one to note.
