Nick Watts on the latest big-race action and key market moves

The Coral-Eclipse was a fantastic race and had me salivating at the prospect of the Sandown principals meeting again in the Juddmonte International at York, which isn't that far away now.
My impression of the race was that Ombudsman was slightly unlucky, looking for all the world as if he had done enough, only to lose out to a rival who flew down the centre of the track, leaving him with no time to respond; a little like when Observatory beat Giant's Causeway in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes in 2000.
Ombudsman and Delacroix are both 4-1 for the Juddmonte, and I’d narrowly favour the former, although they could have 6-4 favourite Field Of Gold to beat of course. Ruling Court, third in the Eclipse, is a top priced 20-1.
