Field Of Gold posts best rating by a three-year-old colt this year
Recent history tells us he will be hard to beat at Royal Ascot

The Curragh took centre stage with the Irish 2,000 Guineas on Saturday and nine went to post for what looked a good running of the Classic. Juddmonte went into the race holding the strongest hand, with Newmarket second Field Of Gold and the unbeaten Cosmic Year first and second in the betting.
And that was the order in which they finished, with Field Of Gold winning by three and three-quarter lengths and achieving a career-high Racing Post Rating of 125+, the best RPR achieved by a three-year-old colt this season.
Cosmic Year improved on his previous form, running to an RPR of 114+. With more experience, there is no doubt he will improve further.
