Ewing able to divide and conquer

Warren Ewing took full advantage of the first divide in the Northern region this season by winning both the Dennison Commercials four-year-old maidens with Jamie Codd.
In the opening divide, his Celebrity Status raced prominently throughout before asserting approaching the final fence to win in good style from Freewheelin Dylan.
The Scorpion gelding showed marked improvement on previous form, but handler Ewing explained there had previously been a sickness in the yard.
