Double delight for veteran trainer Robert Tyner as he signs off in style

Veteran handler Robert Tyner has already signalled his time in the training ranks will come to an end soon and his 33-year career in the point-to-point sphere ended on a high with a final-day double.
He won two of the three divisions of the Tattersalls NH mares’ maiden at Tralee, starting with Dangan Des Champs in the opening split of the mares’ maiden.
It was her first start back in this sphere since being one of three horses disqualified when adjudged to have taken the wrong course in a Dromahane maiden in October 2020.
