Ballynoe prepares to host final of long-running GAIN mares' series

One of the highlights of this coming weekend’s action will be the GAIN mares’ final at Ballynoe point-to-point on Sunday.

The long-running series which continues to support the owners and trainers of mares, began at Damma House in Kilkenny in early November, with 21 races taking place across seven counties all building to this weekend’s series finale.

GAIN Equine Nutrition and the Ballynoe point-to-point committee will again present a bonus of €3,000 to the winning owner, with a host of connections out to try to claim that valuable prize, won 12 months ago by the Co. Derry raider Noel Kelly. His Milan Dancer won the 2018 renewal under former northern champion Noel McParlan.
