Monday

Ash Tree Meadow bids for back-to-back wins in the Grade 3 BoyleSports An Riocht Chase (6.38) at Killarney, although he faces stiff opposition, including Blood Destiny and Hercule Du Seuil from the Willie Mullins stable.

Southwell also races over jumps and Catterick, Roscommon, Windsor and Wolverhampton host Flat fixtures.

Off the track, the first declarations for York's Dante meeting takes place, while Racing Post+ subscribers can get Tom Segal's expert insight and advice in ante-post Pricewise for next month's Betfred Derby online from 6pm.

Tuesday

The Wire Flyer attempts to defy a 7lb penalty and follow up his 66-1 Ffos Las success last Tuesday at Worcester. Sligo and Sedgefield also host jump racing while Beverley, Chepstow and Killarney race on the Flat.

The final field for the highlight at York, the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Dante Stakes, will be confirmed at 10am, with the unbeaten The Lion In Winter expected to feature.

Wednesday

York's season gets under way with the Group 2 1895 Duke of York Clipper Stakes (3.13) and Group 3 Tattersalls Musidora Stakes (3.45) the main races on the opening day of the Dante meeting.

Karl Burke is responsible for a third of the Duke of York entries, namely Night Raider, Elite Status and Marshman while Kevin Ryan has already booked Ryan Moore to ride last year's Commonwealth Cup winner Inisherin

Kieran Shoemark keeps the ride on John and Thady Gosden's Go Go Boots, who is owned by celebrity chef Bobby Flay, in the Musidora, the £130,000 race that the Clarehaven stable has won five times in the last ten years.

As well as five races from York, ITV will also show Yarmouth's feature 7f handicap (2.25). Bath is the other Flat meeting on the day. Grade 1 winner Strong Leader's half-sister Strong View could make her debut in the bumper (5.40) at Newton Abbot before Tipperary and Perth's evening jumps cards begin.

Thursday

The Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Dante Stakes (3.45) has long been the intended target for Betfred Derby favourite The Lion In Winter's reappearance and the anticipation for Aidan O'Brien's colt's comeback run at York was only increased by Ruling Court winning the 2,000 Guineas.

The Lion In Winter beat Ruling Court in the Acomb Stakes last August and will likely meet the runner-up from that Group 3, Wimbledon Hawkeye, in the headline Group 2 of the three-day meeting on the Knavesmire.

The Dante is preceded by the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Middleton Fillies' Stakes (3.13), the race in which Bluestocking made a successful seasonal debut last year before going on to land three Group 1s, latterly the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. With Bluestocking now retired, Kalpana could be Juddmonte's flagship filly, although she does have a penalty for her Group 1 on Champions Day.

ITV will show Salisbury's feature 1m6f handicap (2.25) as part of its broadcast from York and other Flat racing comes from Kempton. Perth stages its Edinburgh Gin Ladies' Day and Clonmel and Fontwell also race over jumps.

Friday

The Boodles Yorkshire Cup Stakes (3.45) is the main event on the final day of York's Dante meeting and a new name will be added to the roll of honour as Giavellotto, who has won the 1m6f Group 2 in the last couple of years, is being campaigned over a mile and a half this season with next month's Coronation Cup the target.

Sweet William is the early favourite for the John and Thady Gosden yard which has been responsible for three of the last six winners of the race, all with Stradivarius.

The Clipper EBF Marygate Fillies' Stakes (2.10) is the first of two Listed races on the card that will be shown by ITV, who will also screen Newbury's 1m2f handicap (2.25). Newmarket is the other afternoon Flat meeting.

Kyprios will bid to win Leopardstown's Saval Beg Levmoss Stakes (7.23) for a third time as he attempts to replicate 2022 and last year's successful preparation for the Ascot Gold Cup by backing up victory in the Listed Vintage Crop Stakes.

Hamilton stages a £30,000 1m4f handicap (7.15), while Aintree and Kilbeggan's evening meetings are the only jumps fixtures.

Saturday

The Group 1 BoyleSports Lockinge Stakes (3.35) is the highlight of the week and last year's Irish 2,000 Guineas and St James's Palace Stakes winner Rosallion is on course to make his reappearance in the Newbury Group 1. Dancing Gemini has race-fitness on his side having won the Listed Doncaster Mile and Sandown's Group 2 bet365 mile, while the presence of last year's 2,000 Guineas and Sussex Stakes hero Notable Speech means this one should be a barnstormer.

The Group 3 Sky Sports Racing Aston Park Stakes (1.50) and Listed Highclere Castle Gin Carnarvon Stakes (2.25) at the Berkshire venue will be shown on ITV, as will three races from Newmarket.

Hewick bids to go one better than last year's second in the Grande Course de Haies d'Auteuil at Auteuil.

There is Listed action at Navan (3.40) and more Flat racing from Thirsk and Doncaster. Bangor, Uttoxeter and Wexford stage jumps meetings.

Sunday

Latenightpass are Minella Cocooner are in the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris at Auteuil where Grand National-winning rider Patrick Mullins has been booked to ride in the Prix Marechal Foch.

Naas stages two Group 3s and a couple of Listed races.

There is a £50,000 6f handicap (5.45) at Newmarket and a £25,000 fillies' handicap (3.40) at Ripon respectively. Stratford completes the action in Britain.
