In the very centre of the Longchamp parade ring sits the winner's enclosure. In the centre of the winner's enclosure a rather large syndicate were having a party. Right up until they weren't.
For the best part of 20 minutes after the Emirates Poule d'Essai des Pouliches the vast majority of the celebrating, and 60-strong, travelling contingent of Shes Perfect's owners had the place bouncing.
Their joy was powerful. The atmosphere boisterous. One of them took to the microphone to declare to the crowd that "Zarigana is a great racehorse, but Shes Perfect is better!"
