Racing Post's race-by-race guide to the best bookmaker offers on day one of the Cheltenham Festival

The Cheltenham Festival is the ultimate betting event and understanding how best to take advantage of the plethora of bookmaker offers available is crucial for punters seeking an edge. In this race-by-race guide to the best day-one offers, RP Recommends' Tom Park provides a comprehensive overview of the market . . .
Supreme
1.20 Cheltenham, Tuesday
The Michael O'Sullivan Supreme Novices' Hurdle kicks off the meeting and William Hill are the firm to back with for any singles as they are offering Top Price Guaranteed from 12pm the day before the race until the race is off and are Best Odds Guaranteed from 8am on Tuesday morning, which are two powerful concessions to have at your disposal.
Sky Bet are a standout four each-way places on the race and offer a free bet for all customers for day one, but do note they don't offer BOG on this race and their prices are often much shorter.
I think Kopek Des Bordes will take plenty of beating, but I'll be taking him on each-way with Salvator Mundi with William Hill.

Arkle
2.00 Cheltenham, Tuesday
Majborough will take all the beating and could be a contender for bet365's price boosts, particularly if you fancy him in multiples, so keep your eyes peeled on their brilliant app. They are also BOG from 8am.
RP Recommends: bet365

Ultima
2.40 Cheltenham, Tuesday
Place terms are your friend in an open affair and Sky Bet lead the way with seven places on offer, but be sure to weigh up their price compared with bet365, Paddy Power and William Hill, who also offer six places and BOG. I like the chances of the improving Katate Dori and Malina Girl, and recommend backing them both with Sky Bet's seven places.

Mares' Hurdle
3.20 Cheltenham, Tuesday
- RP Recommends: any firm going BOG
You're either with or against Lossiemouth here, but if you're taking her on there are no enhanced place terms on offer, so you'll have to settle for the standard three. Make sure you hunt around and bet with a firm who are BOG.
Champion Hurdle
4.00 Cheltenham, Tuesday
- RP Recommends: William Hill
William Hill, who offer Top Price Guaranteed from 12pm the day before the race until the race is off and are BOG from 8am on Tuesday morning, are the firm to bet with whoever you fancy here. It is worth adding all firms are two places with just the seven runners.
Fred Winter
4.50 Cheltenham, Tuesday
I fancy Stencil to prove a class above the opposition but whoever you fancy, bet365 are the firm to bet with as they are going six places and are BOG.
RP Recommends: bet365
Bet £10 Get £30 in Free Bets
- Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG)
National Hunt Chase
5.20 Cheltenham, Tuesday
All recognised firms are going five places, so bet with a bookmaker who are BOG. Of those offering that concession, bet365 and William Hill seem to be the most consistent in offering the best prices, so I recommend starting there, but be sure to hunt around for the best price. Transmission is my nap of the day and I'll be backing him just after 8am once firms have gone BOG just in case his price collapses.
RP Recommends: bet365
Bet £10 Get £30 in Free Bets
- Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG)
- RP Recommends: William Hill
