Most recognised firms are going five places here, but Sky Bet are a standout six places and, given the competitiveness of this contest, that is good to have on your side. They are not BOG though and are often shorter on price, so you need to weigh up how much value there is in that extra place. 

William Hill and bet365 seem to have been offering the best value of those going BOG so are the firms to back with singles.

Usually bookies are bending over backwards with offers for the Gold Cup, but this is no ordinary Gold Cup as it has an extraordinary favourite going for a hat-trick. With just nine runners all firms are three places, but William Hill are Top Price Guaranteed and BOG so are the firm to bet with. Keep an eye on bet365's Super Boost as Galopin Des Champs might be a prime contender for that. I will have a very small each-way play on Ahoy Senor with William Hill, but this is a race to sit back and enjoy.
