Tonight's action: three horses to follow across the meetings

Two afternoon meetings are followed by three in the evening with Roscommon, Windsor and Pontefract providing the action. Here we highlight three horses it could pay to follow . . .
Becky The Thatcher
7.10 Pontefract
Fancied to exact revenge on Wemyss Point, who held sway by a head in round two of the track's staying series in April.
Since then the Micky Hammond-trained mare fairly bolted up at Carlisle, showing the application of cheekpieces since switching back to the Flat is working a treat.
The runner-up from last time has subsequently won so all things are in place for a big run.
My Reward8.10 Pontefract
Ran no sort of race when sent off one of the main fancies in the Chester Cup, but that is a unique contest and a bad performance can be forgiven.
Prior to that, his seasonal comeback at Ripon was solid enough and the in-form Tim Easterby is averaging a winner a day in the last fortnight.
There is a chance this confirmed stayer will get a soft lead and if that is the case, he could take some pegging back.
This lightly raced four-year-old can make amends after just being denied by a neck over course and distance last month.
The form of that race has worked out well with the winner and third scoring since and he looks the type to keep progressing.
Rated only 1lb higher, he rates a strong contender for Clive Cox, who has a 23 per cent strike-rate (34-150) at the track in the last five years.
