Punting pointers from each of today's race meetings . . .
Fakenham: Edmunds seeks success to tee up Christmas Magic
Stuart Edmunds could be in for a big Christmas, with Miami Magic entered in the Grade 1 Formby Novices' Hurdle at Aintree, and will bid to strike a winning note with Kosasiempre in the 2m5f mares' handicap chase (1.13).
The six-year-old has been consistent, recording form figures of 115231 on her last six starts, with that latest victory coming at Leicester when she pulled clear on the run-in by five and a half lengths.
Fakenham stat
Lucy Wadham is in hot form after saddling three winners from her last four runners and the Newmarket trainer will go in search of more success with Miss Cynthia in the 2m4f maiden hurdle (1.43), Samourai One in the 3m5f handicap chase (2.13) and Scene One in the female jockeys' handicap chase (3.13).
Lingfield: runaway winner Certain Style returns
Certain Style and Tyrese Cameron embarrassed their rivals with a 22-length victory last month and the pair will bid to follow up in the 2m restricted rider handicap (1.00)
The filly built up an unassailable lead over this course and distance last time to register a first success at 28-1, having finished fourth at Chelmsford the time before as a 66-1 shot.
The jockeys in this race, who include Frankel's rider Tom Queally, will surely be alive to her chances this time as she bids to record back-to-back wins for Cameron and trainer Laura Mongan.
She said: "I think she could have done another circuit at Lingfield. All she does is stay. She had an easy time there and I don't think the race has taken anything out of her. We don't have any intention on going out and making it again, but I'm hoping she'll run well again."
Lingfield stat
Michael Keady won with his first runner and will bid to make it two from two with Ravensbourne in the 6f restricted riders' handicap (2.00). The three-year-old was third over course and distance last time and has been equipped with blinkers for the first time.
