No course form for punters to go on but Windsor gets the thumbs-up from jockeys and trainers

After last month's dress rehearsal, Windsor is ready to host the meeting which instigated its return as a jumps venue.

The first and third day of the Berkshire Winter Million weekend will be played out at the royal racecourse and those behind the rebirth would have been delighted with the generally positive response to the dry run on December 15.

Jockeys and trainers gave the new continuous left-handed circuit, which has been changed from the figure-of-eight layout when jumping last took place there in 2005, the thumbs-up, but punters scouring the valuable cards on Friday and Sunday will have virtually no course form to go off.
