Multiple winners Kylecrue and Draycott Place give John Ryan a strong hand

Kylecrue and Draycott Place, stalwarts of trainer John Ryan's Templemore, County Tipperary stables, have accumulated 18 wins between them and the pair line up for Listowel's feature event.

Claimer Conor Brassil will take 5lb off Kylecrue's back with the 11-year-old a four-time winner over this course, while Mark Enright partners Draycott Place, who ran his best for some time when losing out by a nose to Rocky Court at Ballinrobe last month.

Henry de Bromhead, who has sent out three of the last four winners of this event, is four-handed with Attribution, A Rated, Surf Instructor and Tisamystery, while Willie Mullins is represented by Montalbano and Townshend.

Both horses will go on the ground. Montalbano ran well last time but faces a tough task with top weight, while we're hoping Townshend, who hasn't won since this time last year, will improve on his more recent efforts.

Kylecrue is absolutely flying. He's got a very good record over the course and loves the distance. Draycott Place lost his form and took a long time to recover it. He was unlucky when second at Down Royal last time. He too is in great form and will love the good ground.

Coeur Joyeux ran very well at Punchestown last time and Philip [Dempsey] is very happy with him. Rock On Fruity, who is coming back from a long break, hasn't been the most consistent and we'll just have to see how he goes.

It will be his first run in a handicap. He's been schooling well and seems in great form. It's a competitive race but with a bit of luck he won't be far away.
