Grade 2 bumper winner makes hurdles debut and Patrick Mullins has first ride at Lingfield - Monday's punting pointers

Punting pointers from each of today's race meetings . . .
Lingfield stat: Mullins makes first trip
Patrick Mullins is 6-10 (60 per cent) in Britain this season and goes to Lingfield for the first time to partner Full Confession in the bumper (12.30).
Lingfield: Grade 2 winner makes hurdling bow
Diva Luna makes her hurdling debut (1.30) and first appearance since winning the Grade 2 mares’ bumper at the Grand National meeting in April.
The five-year-old chased home Saturday’s Sandown Listed winner Honky Tonk Highway in a Tattersalls Farm point-to-point before winning a Listed race of her own when making a successful rules debut at Market Rasen.
“She's unbeaten in two very good bumpers and I think she's probably out of the top drawer,” said trainer Ben Pauling.
“She had a little bit of dirty trach wash in September, so I eased off her for a couple of weeks, but she's an incredible jumper and could be very good indeed."
Pauling added: “The Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham in March is the realistic target, but I wouldn't be afraid of taking on the boys in the spring with an allowance if she were good enough. She does everything right and I'm pretty sweet on her."
Musselburgh: four-timer bid
You Some Girl has thrived since Charlie Maggs first got on the seven-year-old at the end of October and the pair bid for a four-timer in Musselburgh's 3m handicap hurdle (12.45).
The Rebecca Menzies-trained stayer was second when the 11-4 favourite at Kelso but since then has recorded comfortable victories at Newcastle, Catterick and Musselburgh.
The daughter of Dylan Thomas is rated 12lb higher for her latest win over this course and distance but the mare has brought a lot of joy to her connections irrespective of whether she manages to defy that hefty rise.
She runs in the colours of the late John Wade, who died in October and would no doubt have enjoyed seeing You Some Girl run up a sequence at northern tracks. Wade's silks are also represented by You Some Girl's stablemate Star Vantage in the opener, the mount of Brian Hughes.
Musselburgh stat: course trainer to note
Dianne Sayer is 2-3 (67 per cent) at Musselburgh this season and runs Cardamon Hill (2.15) and Wearelongterm (3.15).
Newcastle: hat-trick seeker
It's unsurprising Tasever returns to Newcastle for the mile handicap (6.00) given he has won his last two starts over course and distance. Those wins were preceded by the four-year-old being beaten a head at this track and trip in October.
He has made the frame on four of his six starts since joining Patrick Morris from Tim Easterby in July and 7lb claimer Ryan Kavanagh, whose form figures on Tasever are 211, continues the partnership.
Wolverhampton: Royal Ascot winner in action
Rhythm N Hooves has found winning difficult since landing the Palace of Holyroodhouse Stakes last year. That Royal Ascot victory was his third success from his last four starts but since then he has been in the winner's enclosure only once in 16 outings.
The four-year-old was moved from Archie Watson to Robert Cowell in September but beat just three rivals on his stable debut for the latter in Ayr's Silver Cup. Cowell switches the sprinter to the all-weather in the attempt to spark a revival in the 5f handicap (4.45).
Rhythm N Hooves was last of 12 on his most recent visit to Wolverhampton but was beaten a head over course and distance on his debut, and he has won twice from six starts on a synthetic surface.
Sean Levey rides the gelding for the first time on his first start over this distance since April.
