Daryl Jacob, Dani Johnson and Cornelius Lysaght join our expert panel
Keith Melrose and Robbie Wilders complete the weekend line-up

What do you fancy in the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup?
Daryl Jacob Clondaw Castle, who was fourth in the Racing Post Arkle last season, is the one I like. He’s up in trip but he won a point-to-point previously. He was second at Ascot to Diego Du Charmil and that form has been franked, so he looks to have a really good chance.
Dani Johnson Benatar won a Grade 2 over this trip beating Finian’s Oscar a couple of years ago. He comes here on the back of a break and if he finds anything near that form he’s absolutely thrown in off a mark of 148. The market will be the best clue.
Cornelius Lysaght Yet another ultra-competitive staging of this race and although it’s not original I’m with Cepage. He was a decent second in the race in 2018 and was an equally meritorious runner-up at Aintree in November, looking like a horse poised to scoop a nice prize. When the mud’s flying and they’re on a roll I follow the Venetia Williams/Charlie Deutsch combo almost religiously.
