An intriguing debutant and a hunter chaser to note
Punting pointers for Tuesday's racing

Catterick: intriguing hurdling debutant for Lacey
Spaceport will have the eyes of the new owners the Raceshare syndicate on him when he makes his debut over hurdles in the 1m7½f maiden hurdle (3.30) for Tom Lacey.
Previously with William Muir and Chris Grassick in Lambourn, the grey was a capable performer on the Flat, winning off a mark of 85 at Sandown in July. That came over 1m6f, which suggests this test should not pose any issues for him.
His half-brother Sonning has won three times over hurdles and Spaceport looks to have been found a good opportunity to get off the mark at the first attempt.
Catterick stat: Morgan's fine chase record
Trainer Laura Morgan has a 33 per cent strike-rate (3-9) in handicap chases at Catterick in the last five seasons and bids to enhance that record with My Portia (3.00).
Leicester: Givega out to give Morgan more success
Givega is unbeaten in the point-to-point and hunter chase sphere and the lightly raced nine-year-old goes in search of a hat-trick in the 2m6½f hunters' chase (4.45).
Tried three times in Graded company and the winner of three novice hurdles when with Gary Moore, the relation to Quevega is now with Warwickshire trainer Luca Morgan, who quit the saddle in 2023 just seven months after being crowned champion conditional.
Morgan rides Givega every day and is aiming him at a hunter chase at the Punchestown festival later in the spring.
He said: "He's come out of his last run great and the ground should be in his favour. He was a course-and-distance winner last time and I'm very happy with where he is, and would like to think we can take this race along the way."
Among Givega's rivals is the 14-year-old Bennys King, who won this contest last year.
Leicester stat: sole ride for hot jockey
Jockey Richie McLernon is operating at a 25 per cent strike-rate (4-16) in the last fortnight and travels to Leicester for the ride on hat-trick seeker Jumper Madrik (2.45).
Wolverhampton: Crouch one to watch
Hector Crouch is battling it out with Luke Morris in the race to be Wolverhampton's most successful jockey this year.
Before Monday's evening card at the track, Crouch had partnered seven winners from just 19 rides (37 per cent strike-rate) there in 2025, so his three mounts at this fixture are worth noting.
He won on Khangai (4.55) over a longer trip here in December, Come On John (5.30) is plummeting to a competitive mark, but Yesterday's Gone (6.30) will need to improve on what she has shown in her two starts so far.
