All that you thought you knew about Samcro was wrong so it's time to reassess

The time has come for another psychological assessment of Samcro, because everything we thought we knew about him was wrong.

Samcro is not supposed to battle, he brings knives to gun fights. Yes, he has swagger and looks sexy during a race but, when you pin him up against the ropes, he falls flat on his back. Well, he used to. Not anymore. Not since all of our theories were torn up at Cheltenham in March.

In the Marsh Novices' Chase, Samcro found himself in the middle of a Melon and Faugheen sandwich halfway up the most unforgiving hill in racing. The Samcro thing to do was succumb to the pair, but instead he stuck that long neck of his out to win by a nose. Those couple of centimetres have changed everything.
