The King George-winning freelancer set to benefit from David Probert's Hong Kong switch

So, yet another top-tier British jockey has been persuaded to pack his bags and try his luck on the lucrative Hong Kong circuit.

Not long after Derby-winning rider Richard Kingscote was announced as Hong Kong's newest addition to the weighing room, David Probert last week joined the ever-increasing migration.

The talent drain abroad is not confined to racehorses as Probert and Kingscote will see some familiar faces on their six-month licence, with Andrea Atzeni, who relocated in September 2023, and Harry Bentley, who made the move in April 2021, well established over there.
