The nemesis of Galopin Des Champs is back in training and better than ever with the King George on his agenda

Fastorslow is over his injury troubles, back in training and looking better than ever according to his trainer Martin Brassil, who has nominated the King George VI Chase at Kempton as his first big aim of the season.
A three-time Grade 1 winner, Fastorslow has often been the nemesis of Galopin Des Champs. The nine-year-old beat the dual Cheltenham Gold Cup winner in the John Durkan Chase two years ago and also saw him off in the Punchestown Gold Cup in 2023 and 2024.
Having finished fourth to Fact To File in last year's John Durkan, Fastorslow was vying for favouritism for Kempton's Christmas showpiece, only to be sidelined for most of last season after picking up a soft tissue injury during his Punchestown reappearance.
