Cheveley Park leave door open for Champion Hurdle tilt with Envoi Allen

All Cheltenham options remain open for the unbeaten Envoi Allen with the door not shut on a Unibet Champion Hurdle bid for the Cheveley Park-owned star whose festival credentials will be tested at Naas on Sunday.
Envoi Allen steps up to two and a half miles in the Grade 1 Lawlor’s of Naas Novice Hurdle, a move bookmakers think points the way to the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle, for which he is a general 7-4, compared with prices as big as 6-1 for the shorter Sky Bet Supreme.
But performances suggests he would not look out of place in an open-looking Champion Hurdle, which closes for entries on January 14 and for which layers have him a top-priced 16-1 and as short as 8-1.
