Dynamite Dollars the value to explode into Champion Chase reckoning

Things haven't gone to plan for Altior (180) this season so we could be looking for an improving youngster to take the throne in the Champion Chase.

The reigning champ never looked happy on his return behind Cyrname and hasn't run since. He's still a formidable talent, but the ten-year-old may now ideally want further than 2m, is two years past his best on RPRs and his jumping to the left is getting worse with age.

Of course, Altior could dip below his brilliant best and still win, but the time looks right for young blood and there are some strong candidates to topple the king. There's a solid RPR profile for first-time Champion Chase winners, as shown in the graph below.
