Analysis: how is the Stayers' Hurdle division shaping up and is the market still underestimating Impose Toi?

The Howden Long Walk Hurdle has not always had a major bearing on the way the staying division has unfolded later in the season, with Thistlecrack and Paisley Park the lone Ascot winners to subsequently strike at the Cheltenham Festival in the last decade.
That trend that was perhaps reflected by the fact Impose Toi and Honesty Policy were the only two in the field beforehand trading below 20-1 for the Paddy Power Stayers' Hurdle in March.
However, that it was those two market principals, along with Strong Leader, who fought out the finish with the rest of the field a long way behind, means it is relatively easy to take a positive view of their prospects at the festival.
