Nicholls signs up promising 17-year-old jockey as conditional
One of jump racing’s potential future stars, Freddie Keighley, has made a high-profile transfer to become a conditional jockey for Paul Nicholls.
Keighley, who turned 17 in February, is the son of Gloucestershire trainer Martin and on Monday starts out at the Nicholls academy, where previous graduates include Sean Bowen, Harry Skelton, Sam Twiston-Davies, Paddy Brennan and current stable number one Harry Cobden.
