'Everything happened very quickly' - former understudy to Owen Burrows and Sir Mark Prescott swaps Britain for Bahrain to go it alone

Former Sir Mark Prescott and Owen Burrows understudy Robert McDowall has taken his first role in the training ranks in the somewhat different setting of Bahrain in recent weeks, having been appointed private trainer to a member of the ruling royal family.
He has around 75 horses at the spacious Al Muzdaher stables, less than a mile from the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, where he got off the mark at their fourth meeting on Friday when Aajay won the BHB Closing Bell Cup.
