Former British-based jockey Mark Lawson has restarted his riding career in Bahrain at the age of 42 after almost a decade out of the saddle.
The one-time Mel Brittain apprentice, who rode 57 winners in Britain between 2002 and 2011, has already enjoyed two winners and a host of placed efforts at the Rashid Equestrian & Horseracing Club since being granted a licence in October.
