Fair-weather forecast means it's time to add this 10-1 shot to the Cheltenham portfolio

There was some interesting action at the weekend, even though we are getting to the stage where Cheltenham fancies will be tucked up in their boxes rather than racing.

The Greatwood Gold Cup threatened to shed a bit of light on the Grand National picture with course specialist Kandoo Kid in action, but he never really got involved and is 25-1 for Aintree glory.

It was a middling display, not terrible but hardly one that would have you rushing to back him for the National. However, a longer trip would have suited better and it was his first run for three months, so you can't be too critical of his eighth behind Booster Bob.
