A sense of calm descends on Highfield Stables in the early hours of the afternoon.

Morning lots are out of the way, stables are mucked out and staff have largely filtered out for lunch. An evening trip to Windsor racecourse awaits, but for a few brief hours all is peaceful in Newmarket, and Harry Eustace has a moment to reflect on a season already surpassing his wildest dreams. 

One magical week in June was all it took for Bury Road's new kid on the block to turn ripples to waves as the trainer catapulted himself into the limelight with a sensational Royal Ascot.
