Paddy Power co-founder on why he has regrets - and could be seen as a hypocrite

The gambling industry is at a crossroads. Bookmakers have been placed under the political microscope and gambling regulation has become front-page news amid calls for change by campaigners.

This culminated in the launch of the UK Gambling Act review, which has threatened to drastically alter the betting landscape, with the prospect of more aggressive restrictions such as affordability checks.

Few people are in a better position to discuss the current state of affairs than Paddy Power founder Stewart Kenny, who resigned from the company's board in 2016 when he believed his concerns regarding problem gambling were continually falling on deaf ears.
