Dalgleish hails winning machine Let Me Be as remarkable season continues

Keith Dalgleish hailed Let Me Be's "fantastic" achievements after he landed a remarkable sixth victory of the season with a gutsy success in the feature 2m handicap.
The five-year-old's winning run began at Musselburgh in late April before wins at Catterick, Ripon, Ayr and Pontefract followed. He brought up his half-dozen with a tenacious front-running victory under Callum Rodriguez.
"He's fantastic. For any horse to win six races in a year is some achievement, let alone in the timescale he's done it. He's very tough and genuine," the winning trainer said. "He's lazy but his style of racing has probably helped him race as much as he has.
"He's what we go into training for. I don't know when he'll be found out but we'll keep chipping away."
Balding breakthrough
Andrew Balding has enjoyed success at plenty of tracks globally but the powerful trainer picked up a first winner at Catterick when Winterwatch scored in the 1m4f maiden.
Winning jockey Joshua Bryan told Racing TV: "It's great for the boss, it made the long trip up here worthwhile. We think this horse has a really big future."
Curtis's double delight
Ben Curtis continued his recent hot run of form and took his impressive strike-rate to 36 per cent with a double on the card.
Curtis struck with his only rides of the day when Black Hill Storm narrowly prevailed in the opening claimer before Highland Premiere registered an easy success in the 7f nursery.
