Rashabar and Field Of Gold feature in Greenham entries at Newbury - plus Aidan O'Brien could be represented in Fred Darling

Coventry Stakes scorer Rashabar and Solario Stakes winner Field Of Gold feature in 16 entries for the Watership Down Stud-sponsored Greenham Stakes at Newbury on Saturday.
Rashabar was an 80-1 winner for Brian Meehan at Royal Ascot in June and followed that effort with Group 1 seconds in the Prix Morny and Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, the latter his first attempt at 7f.
Rashabar is a 33-1 chance for the Betfred 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket on May 3 and is the same price as Field Of Gold, who was two places behind him in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere.
Field Of Gold’s owners Juddmonte have three Greenham entries, with Jonquil potentially having his first start for Andrew Balding, having previously been trained by the now-retired Sir Michael Stoute. Cosmic Year, a 10-1 shot for the Guineas, has been entered but is declared to run in a 7f novice at Kempton on Wednesday evening.
Al Qudra, who was second in a Grade 1 at Woodbine as a juvenile, was successful in Qatar in February and is one of three entries for Charlie Appleby, who could also be represented with Anno Domini and Hallasan.

Aidan O’Brien does not have an entry in the Greenham but could run wide-margin Chesham winner Bedtime Story and Heavens Gate in the Dubai Duty Free Stakes – registered as the Fred Darling.
Moyglare Stud Stakes second Simmering, Cheveley Park third Arabian Dusk, recent Meydan winner Mountain Breeze and Lowther second Time For Sandals are also among the 23 entries.
St Leger third Sunway is one of nine entries in the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Stakes – registered as the John Porter. His rivals could include Dante runner-up Ancient Wisdom, Melrose Handicap winner Tabletalk and Melbourne Cup fifth Absurde, who also has the option of the Scottish Champion Hurdle at Ayr.
