>>Lots of support came for low-drawn runners in the Qatar Stewards’ Cup after those on the far side dominated Goodwood’s opener, but the biggest move came for Dancing Star, who went off 9-2 from a morning 7-1.
The market leader was strong on Betfair and justified the support after hitting 7 in the run. Orion’s Bow travelled well but didn’t finish his race as strongly as the winner after touching 2.1.
>>A big late gamble was landed on Hoof It in the Qatar Stewards’ Sprint Stakes. The 8-1 chance was available a best-priced 22-1 shot in the morning and opened at 14-1. He justified the support after touching a high of 12.5.
